Mrs. Mae Martin, age 71, of Forrest City, died Monday at the Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis. She had been in poor health for the past several years.

Mrs. Martin was born May 4, 1942, in Brookley, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Walter McClatchey and Flonell Drummond McClatchey. She lived in Forrest City most of her life, was a homemaker, and a member of the Second Baptist Church in Forrest City.

Mrs. Martin married Glen Martin in 1962, and he survives her along with one son, Glen Martin of Bentonville, Arkansas, one daughter, Barbara Hutcherson of Forrest City, three sisters; Minnie Strader of Michigan, Linda Staggs of Forrest City, and Pat Hart of Colt, and five grandchildren; Josh, Lori, Christopher, Tim, and Katie. She had one son, Glen Martin, who preceded her in death.

Services for Mrs. Martin will be held Graveside, 2:00 P.M., Thursday, at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation will be Thursday, beginning 12:00 noon, until the time of the service at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
